Poster Guidelines

An accepted poster proposal lead to the production of a poster.

The purpose of a poster is to stimulate discussion with conference participants during the conference about your presented activity. For this purpose, the poster will be mounted and accessible during the whole conference. During the poster session, the presenters of the poster should be present at their posters to give short presentations to interested participants.

Here are the next steps if your poster proposal has been accepted:

  • Update your poster proposal according to the obtained feedback, deanonymize it, and send us the LaTeX sources for publication of the proposal in the local proceedings by Friday, September 22, to jean-philippe.pellet@hepl.ch and gabriel.parriaux@hepl.ch
  • Prepare (and print in advance!) your poster, size A1 (594 × 841 mm), portrait or landscape orientation
    • The poster should contain at least: title, author(s), institution(s), contact information, problem statement, description of work, gained results, future work, main references
    • Please take into account the feedback sent to you during the review process
  • Prepare and record:
    • Either a maximum 60-second audio pitch of your poster, together with a PDF version of your poster;
    • Or a maximum 60-second video pitch of your poster.
